This resource is one of our newer ideas and when ready what we will consider one of the most urgent for families to use. CPR is a huge part of Annie’s story. If the team had not given her the perfect CPR that they did, that Annie would not have made it through cardiac arrest.
Rachel Jefferies is mom to Mabel and founder of the Mighty Mabel Foundation that was launched this year on 4/25 in honor of Mabel’s 5th birthday. Mabel’s foundation has many goals that are in alignment with ALF and we are honored to work alongside the Jeffereies family.
Mabel was a beautiful part of the Down syndrome family, and of course always will be. She passed away March of 2022 after a tragic choking accident. Rachel’s desire to create this resource to spread help and love is one of my greatest motivators I have experienced in starting this work in medical and disability advocacy.
